Thursday, July 22, 2021 - Bright red colour with fading and yellow at rim.
Pretty funky on the nose, cider notes, walnuts, dark fruit,
Much cleaner on t he palate, dark cherries, rosemary, tannins still pretty fierce, but there’s a delightful sweetness and perfume here too. Needs food, cider and bramble on the finish.
Totally uncompromising but worth persisting with. This is going to last for decades.
