Friday, May 8, 2009 - Ruby color with some lightening at the rim. Nose of briary fruits, some leather, some earth. Similar on the palate with blackberries and cherries. Mature tannins. Very nice wine and a relative bargain for restaurant drinking. Tasted at the Black Trumpet Bistro in Portsmouth, NH.
