Monday, October 10, 2011 - This is a great example of a wine improving with time. I had 3 in the cellar. I drank the first 2 years ago and found a rather ordinary, slightly tannic Aussie cab. Drank another tonite. I asked my wife to give me the varietal and country blind. She said it was a huge, exracted new world pinot. She was quite impressed to find this cherry pie beauty a CAB!....Very smooth, sweet tannins, with sweet cherry and mint on the mid palate. Structure was present but fruit predominated....a very good wine, drinking beautifully now.....I do think this wine will fade over the next 3 to 5 years...Drink and enjoy it now....Margaret River is nothing like Barossa!.....
