Friday, September 19, 2014 - dense purple black colour; needed time to open up hinting its enormous character of a masculine Lafleur; finally a great bouquet, that whiff of tar, honey and ripe raspberry; on the palate flexing its muscles through truffles and subtle but present adstrigency, Latour style, let alone its phantastic lenght and abysal depth; to me dare I say close to perfection had I only some left! 98-100.
