Sunday, January 23, 2011 - Just magic. Wonderful clear ruby color almost to the rim. Nose of curshed berries and cranberry with mushroom/forest floor notes. Perfectly balanced. Just the right acidity to offset the fruit and and tannins. Slightly chewy with waves of dark cherry, cassis, leather and spice. Long finish.

I'm a big fan of the Summa Old Vines but this belongs in the same league. Three to go.
