Friday, August 31, 2007 - Alot of debate on this wine and I hadn't opened any '05's yet, so I picked this one to try out. On the nose, cherry and raspberry with some roses and spice. On the palate, cherries again with some raspberry and a subtle bit of spice and earthiness. Nice smooth finish. Not near as much heat on the nose or the palate as I had thought would be there.
