Thursday, August 22, 2019 - The 2005 Michel Lafarge Beaune Les Aigrots was unbelievably tannic and rigid for a Pinot Noir, this is Pinot Noir on steroids. We can clearly tell from this wine Michel Lafarge wines are traditional in the winemaking, but we did not expect a village Beaune to display the intense structure. Fresh blackberries, cassis, 1999 structure. A strange 2005. (83/100)
