Friday, May 2, 2008 - Approfondimenti: Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Alba, Italy): Ruby core, slightly garnet at rim, med. dense. Interesting nose: chocolate, licorice, cola syrup, oak. Fruit appeared after about an hour in glass. High alcohol, high/sharp acidity, sapid. Heavy body, mega-concentrated, longer and more complex than 2006. Second favourite of the flight.
