Saturday, October 15, 2022 - This has barely moved since its 2019 release. It's still got the resinous, dark, brooding Coastlands character, quite a lot of tannin, rich potpourri perfume, and a lot of color density. The tannin needs quieting and the acid a little calming to settle this wine down into the zone that makes it routinely my favorite Williams Selyem wine. But I am confident that it will get there. The next morning, the dregs of the bottle were revelatory. If I can, I'll try not to touch it for 5 years. 13.3%, $85.
