Saturday, January 9, 2016 - Surprisingly, this wine was still good when it should have been past it's life. We were lucky that we had cellared the bottle correctly. The Blend of Petit Verdot and Syrah is a very good combination. Since the bottle is on its last legs, the nose aromas were not distinctive, muted would be the word. Still had good structure with subtle tannins and full bodied mouth. Would like to try a younger version of the wine.
