Friday, October 10, 2003 - Seattle Tasting Group does "American Bordeaux Varietals" (plus 1992-1997 Pahlmeyer Red) (Seattle, WA, USA): All eight tasters scored this in the 92-96 range, and this was the wine of the night. This shows some licorice and briar amidst ripe plums. This is so VERY primary, barely a baby right now. Long, spreading, dusty tannins on the finish. This clearly has the most potential of the bunch, but it is a workout right now. All that said, WOW! (Group average 94.125)
