Monday, April 22, 2013 - Hard to say whether this prize fighter is on the decline. It still had significant tannins and took two hours to open up. And, boy, did it open up with some delicious black fruits and vegetables. Tart cherries, prunes, rhubarb. On the other hand, this bottle of the 97 was not as impressive as the one I had a few years ago and mentally rated a 96. It may just be in a dormant period. You takes your time and you takes your chances.
