from south - east facing La Serra vineyard in La Morra
planted at 8000 vines/ha yielding 0.5 kg/plant
without use of chemicals.
Fermentation by natural yeast in stainless steel.
Spontaneous malolactic.
Aged 24 months in used barriques and 15hl casks,
8 months in steel and 8 months in bottle.
Unfilitered.
14.5% Abv. ~6,000 bottles
History: established in 1986

A(ccuray)=2: Med bright ruby/red. Subtly fragrant varietal.
B(alance)=3: Distinctive fruit with polished structure.
C(omplexity)=2: Dark berries, plum, mint, licorice.
D(epth)=2: Lifted mouthfeel. Expansive palate and lingering finish.
