Of course, a dry cork that deteriorates on opening did not start the bottle off right and it went down hill from there. Deep red cherry colour, bright acidic taste that just melts your tongue. Makes me long for a bottle of Mogen David to mix with it to give it a fruit flavor. I don't believe a rating is necessary - of course, this is all my opinion and I am sure this is probably the greatest wine out there for someone, just not for us
