Thursday, November 4, 2010 - Classic syrah nose of meat, violet, earth red fruit...and brett. Too much brett to be classified as 'barnyard', for me it veered to a negative descriptor. The palate was earthy, resolved tannins and red and dark fruits. As the night wore on the brett diminished but remained noticeable. Very Good.
