Saturday, January 29, 2022 - Darkish robe, medium body. Nose of sauvage and bright fruit, which carries into the palate along with some spice. Wonderful complexity, balance and finish. We were thoroughly enjoying a 2018 Fourrier Morey St. Denis Clos de Salon until we opened this Gevrey 1er of same vintage, which stole the show!
