The wine was made from blending 65% Merlot, and 35% Cabernet Franc. With the 2018 only the oldest Cabernet Franc vines were used in the blend.

Why give this wine 99, as opposed to 100? Needs time in bottle to show development? Or whatever?

4/26/2023 11:07:00 PM - Wine tasting is not technical. It is an art, feeling, and experience with a wine. It's a great wine, but perhaps it could have been just a bit better, at least on that day.
