Saturday, February 20, 2021 - Slow ox'd for four hours. It improved with air. Deep dark crimson in color with still a bit of alcohol on the edge of the glass. Dark, dark fruits and spices on on the nose. Dark plums and dark cherries on the palate with a 30+ second finish. I believe this still needs 2+ years to smooth out and will improve. I like that Black Cordon sells/ships wine with some age on it. The rating is today and could see it pushing 94-95. David and Karen make some great wines.
