Thursday, October 21, 2004 - The 2002 Domaine de Chevalier blanc is a blend of 70% Sauvignon Blanc and 30% Semillon. It has a pale green, silver color with good viscosity. On the nose it shows some green leafy notes as well as smoke and vainilla. On the mouth it shows apple and smoke hints, it is high in acidity and bit square. I did not get a lot of complexity but it was fairly long.
