Saturday, August 11, 2007 - Popped and poured. Spicy oak and rich blackberry compote on the nose. Deep very rich mouthfeel, creamy but with a balancing dose of acidity. Possesses copmpelling inner mouth energy that is a characteristic of Burgs from the 05 vintage. Nice long finish. Started to close up after a couple of hours, drying out just a touch.
