Tuesday, February 6, 2007 - WIML95. No formal notes. Tasted at an offline at Alan Wong's Pineapple Room on Oahu. Color was still pretty red with very little if any bricking that I can recall. Beautiful nose of red fruits such as raspberries and cherries and berries with a medley of soft brown spices...all of which carried right through to the palate. Pure silk on the palate, fully integrated and resolved. I see no reason to hold this one any longer. The cork was just about gone so if opening I'd strongly recommend using an Ah-So. This is likely the best Burgundy I've had to date.
