Saturday, January 15, 2022 - 2014 base, disgorged June 2019. 100% Pinot Noir. Nothing to dislike here, and very much enjoyed at the time, but writing this note the next day I can't say the wine was particularly memorable. Already not that effervescent. Weighty, with a depth of fruit, good balance of acidity and some marmitey umami towards the finish. Worked well as an aperitif and continued to be good once the food was served.
