Saturday, April 5, 2014 - The 2001 Château de Fuisse Pouilly-Fuissé Vieilles Vignes is medium (+) gold in colour. Sweet roasted honey nose with pronounced nuttiness alongside dried apricots, beeswax and lemons.

The palate boast of sweet beeswax and dried apricots. There's some green apples showing from the mid-palate with some nuttiness from development. There's an underlying minerality perhaps, but rather weak. Flavours seem to be a tad bit tired, or perhaps the wine is shut. One might say its window is closing - hence, its now or never.
