Friday, February 23, 2024 - Popped and poured. Aromas of tart red cherry, soap, charcoal, and green vine cuttings predominate. Medium-to-light weight in the mouth. Red cherry and potpourri out front but marred by a mildly unpleasant bitter, slightly astringent finish which muted any complexity that might be developing. Air time only heightened this effect. I have one more bottle so will likely wait another year or two to see if this uncoils at all.
