Thursday, June 25, 2020 - Near transparent light garnet color. Decanted. Now 1.5h after decant. Aromas of raspberries, red cherries, some minerals and hint of herbs. Tart red cherries, some herbs, and a nice mineral streak. Mild tannins on midpalate. Juicy acids on a light bodied frame. When initially tasted after opening, had the nice bright fruit and hint of bubblegum that always says gamay to me. Now, w air, the herbal.and mineral aspects come out more, reminiscent of a Touraine red from Loire with the fruit of California. Different but delicious and so gulpable.
