Saturday, November 18, 2023 - Decanted for 6 hours, at which time the first sip revealed a still impenetrable wine. Put it up against a wagyu ribeye which tamed the massive tannins, but only temporarily. Sipped the last half of the bottle as if it were scotch, and by hour 9 some of the fruit started to peek through.
Lesson learned. Will let the others sleep for a minimum of 5 years. I hope.
