Wednesday, September 6, 2017 - Terrific bottle of Riesling. Lots of citrus notes - oranges and grapefruit - great acidity, fresh and racy, pure and complex with just a tiny hint of botrytis. Great depth and length and never heavy or cloying like some of the Wachau Rieslings can be. This will age nicely. Birgit Eichinger seems to be making better wines with every new vintage lately. This is top level Austrian Riesling for my palate. - 93 points
