Wednesday, April 28, 2021 - 70% Merlot, 30% Cab Franc
First tasting 4.28.21- Morna, Susan with chicken and grilled veggies.
Decent nose, big bounce from bottle, after 2-3 hours open lost some of its punch, did not gain complexity and the acids started to dominate. Might improve over next 2 years. Have 2 more bottles.
Elegant and clean aroma of the wine is filled tone cherry stone, plum nuances of black currant, blackberry and spice. The wine shows rich and rounded taste with notes of blackcurrant and slightly spicy undertones. The finish is long and soft, with well integrated tannins.
