Sunday, August 6, 2023 - Lovely red fruits, licorice, spice and some ferrous-meaty savory notes on the nose. Mid weighted with good balance with a cool mix of supple fruit and florals with a little rustic edge and bite to it. It's not a hugely complicated wine, but it is an honest really well made Chianti that's drinking well right now. Quite long on the back end. A terrific bargain to boot. Excellent with ragu pasta. Drink now or hold. 89
