Sunday, March 31, 2024 - A 50mm natural cork enclosure. A deep ruby/garnet in colour. On the medium intensity nose there is cedar, plum, jam, spoce, dark fruit, vanilla, liquorice and caramel. So definitely complex. On the palate, with a med. body, has pronounced intensity, high acidity, med(+)fine tannin and a lovely balance. The length is very decent but not amazing. The alcohol leaves its mark at the end however, but that said, it’s a bottle I’d happily buy again.
