Saturday, August 8, 2020 - Clear medium ruby; clean medium plus nose of dried and jammy cassis, dust and savoury herbs; dry; high acidity; high tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium plus body; palate has fruit payoff and addition of dark chocolate; medium plus finish; drink now or in another 5 years - built to age; tannins started out quite high and then mellowed a little; makes me think I should buy a case of Red each year so that some bottles actually get a chance to age - I always drink them too soon
