Sunday, March 31, 2024 - This wine is mainly characterized by black fruits probably as a result of an higher percentage of Syrah and Mourvèdre in the blend (there was serious coulure of the Grenache in 2017). The color is opaque black-red with a purple rim, with on nose and palate black cherries, blackberries, blueberries, licorice and beefstock. There are plenty of tannines, a refreshing acidity and good length. Te 15% alcohol is very well integrated.
The advantage of this Southern Rhône wine is that it is already irresistible young, while it can easily be kept for at least 5 years gaining in complexity.
