Wednesday, August 23, 2023 - Aromatic and super pretty! I wouldn’t mind a bit more depth and complexity, but this is certainly open enough to be very delicious at this stage. I drank 19’ Fuées recently that was far more structured and tightly wound (and probably just a better vintage for this wine) but that bottle definitely needed more time while this 18’ is already drinking pretty well. I’d assume it’ll put on more weight in time but I don’t regret opening it tonight. I usually do enjoy drinking Mugnier wines on the younger side, they’re just so polished and tasty!
