Sunday, November 27, 2011 - Consumed over two days. Day 1: dark crimson color, quite shy on nose, dark fruit, spice. Palate is smooth and fruity with just noticiable tannins at the back end palate. Day 2 is such an improvement. Nose is quite complex and very aromatic: orange peel, red mature fruit, forest floor, cinnamon, incense, tobacco, graphite, indian ink, all over layers and layers of fruit. Palate is even more smooth, medium bodied, black liquor fruit, medium acidity and a medium finish.
