Monday, November 1, 2021 - Interesting wine. I really do not understand how a white wine aged in bourbon barrels can still be so light. I expected some tinting. The time in the barrel had to be extremely short which essentially doesn’t allow the wine to really develop in the barrel. But it was pleasant with nice medium finish but quite hot in the mouth from the high alcohol content. Really not a favorite but I would not hesitate to serve to friends.
