Wednesday, March 20, 2024 - Decanted off virtually no sediment. Gave this a few round trips through an aerating decanter. Dense nose unlike other varietals I've experienced. Palate before food dominated by drying tannins, flavors start to emerge on finish. Ok, with rack of lamb this really showed its glory. Tannins muted by the meat let the ample body emerge. Will guess this wine will continue to positively evolve for at least another 5.
