Saturday, April 1, 2023 - Somehow I do no manage to become friends with Wittmann. Yesterday I drank its Riesling/Sylvaner vin nature 2020. I guess this should be one of the best German vins natures; isn't Wittmann one of Germany's leading producers? Well, I did not like it: no complexity, no minerality, etc: an indifferent wine. AS I do not want to be overcritical of Wittmann, I opened its Aulerde GG 2018 today, expecting a good, perhaps great wine. I was not to be: class yes, greatness no. Disappointing.
