Wednesday, November 10, 2021 - My, oh my, how this has improved four months later! I've not had a village Mosel that shows so much slate, flint and smoke on the nose. The funk of 4 months ago is no longer there, instead, the three features I have mentioned, plus ripening apple fruit have an unmistakable Mosel signature. The mouth is very, very crisp, precise and focused. Although certainly not lengthy, nor as concentrated as the best individual vineyard bottlings, this has really raised my eyebrows. Very good plus +.
