Monday, December 13, 2021 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherry, blueberry, mushroom, graphite, tobacco, and light funk. Lighter side of medium body, medium (-) acid and finish as well, with flavors of cherry, plum, lemon, and a bit of iodine. Fairly simple, straightforward Italian wine that's veering a bit international here. Not really getting a sense of place or varieties used here, but maybe that's not the point in this bottling. Pizza/pasta wine for non-contemplative enjoyment.
