Tasted non blind. Opened and served immediately. Followed over about two hours.

Folks, this is proof of that statement "There are no great wines, just great bottles". This bottle was singing above and beyond my wildest dreams. Purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Absolutely stunning nose of black raspberry jam, violets, smoke, meat, dark plums and black cherries. Palate wasn't as impressive as the nose but still quite impressive with rich, expressive flavors of black raspberries, juicy plums, boysenberry jam and black cherries framed over a mineral streak underneath. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink now. Impressive.
