2014 and there’s a slight tawniness to the edges. 50/50 blend of fresh and dried grapes. Refermented on the lees of the Amarone (Ripasso).
Some floral aromas, beautiful rich plum and rife earthy tones including balsamic, forest floor and dried cedar. Grippy tannins and a lasting finish.
