Wednesday, June 1, 2022 - i have to start with the price... $22. it's by no means a blockbuster and not as good as good as some of the wine we had in sardinia (there are some fabulous farm to table agriturismos that do not bottle their wine for retail sale), but this is solid. a really fragrant, borderline impressive, nose for me (91+)... fruity, grassy, earthy, strawberries, something almost nutty. palate is a let down, a little thin and straightforward. not as robust or complex as the nose would have you think. there's some nice acidity though and there's actually a lingering herbal finish that gives you reason to pause. crushable.
