Sunday, December 18, 2022 - Nice on the nose and deep purple in colour. Dry, very full bodied, medium to medium low acidity and medium high tannic. On the palate lots of blackberry and just a little bit of vanilla, so definitely a rather fruit forward Cabernet with primarily fruity characteristics, the oak influence is still there though. Finish was medium but nice, also more so dominated by blackberry. Decanting for an hour is recommended. Cheers :) . At 5 years of age definitely way more years it can be stored for.
