Friday, March 16, 2007 - 2+ hour decant, nose is tar, cigarette, earth, pepper, and blackberry - in that order. Loved the depth and richness of the '03, but the fruit flavors on the '05 are not as big, are dominated by tar and licorice throughout, and the finish is shorter than expected.
