Wednesday, December 19, 2012 - uncorked and decanted 4 hours in advance. unfiltered with sediment.
dark red-purple-black
developed fruity Grenache aroma with hints of spices
full body, very alcoholic, grip tannins, good acidity level, black fruits (berries & currants) flavours, good harmony and balance.
still young and closed. should age additional 3-5 years.
long alcoholic aftertaste.

remaining 1/3 glass after 15 hours: strong flowery jammy woody (& bit of ham) aroma, still live & kicking in the palate with all above-mentioned flavours, though more oxidised.
