Monday, December 26, 2011 - A beautiful bottle after a couple duds. This had sweet red raspberry and sour cherry compote accented by notes of fresh and dried fruits of the same. Hints of old cellar, mustiness and tobacco adds interest. Clean dark mineral shows up in the back palate. Superbly balanced and quite intense for the weight. The initial fruit extends through to a long finish with traces of mineral, coffee and tea notes.
