Monday, December 11, 2023 - 90-91 .. dark fruit pastry is the dominant note here, with the mouvedre/grenache tandem coming through quite strong and typical. Lots of fresh tart acidity supports the ripe jammy fruit, is a little unbalanced yet but drinking well at this age. Not my center lane but an enjoyable wine, well made and provides a nice medium length finish to keep you coming back. Have another bottle and would like to see if the fruit settles down and mellows out with the acid in a few years.
