Friday, September 6, 2019 - Blind Tasting at Jim and Stacia’s (New Jersey, USA): Decanted for an hour then returned to the bottle for transport to a tasting. Medium to dark garnet color. Generously fragrant with lots of florals. Soaring and airy. Palate had medium+ acidity. Chewy, unctuous, sweet but not cloying. Bright fruit, dark chocolate and a light to medium texture not heavy. Long finish. Very different but very good.
