Tuesday, December 5, 2023 - 39% merlot 16% cab franc 45% cab sav. took a sip every hour after decanting and 4 hrs were optimal for it to open up nicely and balanced, with freshness, smooth tannins and savory finishing. it did have a bit of the figeac character, yet i would easily be mistaken that it was a grand vin from medoc. the duration of airing made a big difference. so take your time.
