Community Tasting Note

Capt Cutlass Does not like this wine:

Sunday, August 13, 2017 - Decanter recently did a big tasting on this appellation which was effusive with praise. So off I went to buy several cuvees of this top rated producer. All I can say is that I no longer trust Decanter tasters' palates!! All the wines were bland... Even the magazine article stated that the grape variety, Melon de Bourgogne, has no particular characteristics itself and this came out loud and clear! So to come back to my tasting note no that I wasted my money on these wines: bland, bland, bland....
